7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “Blood moon lunar eclipse | How to watch the the flower moon | 7NEWS” – below is their description.
Friday night is a double-whammy for sky-gazers – a full moon and a partial lunar eclipse, the longest in almost 600 years. In Australia, the best vantage points will be on the east coast for the blood red moon, but west coast stargazers will still see a little slice of the action. A partial lunar eclipse occurs when Earth moves between the Sun and the full moon, but they are not precisely aligned.
