Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Bangladesh under pressure with rising Dengue fever cases” – below is their description.
The health ministry in Bangladesh is struggling to cope with the increasing number of Dengue fever cases.
More than 100 people have died from the disease since January, and at least 27,000 people have been hospitalised.
Poor sanitation, a lack of adequate drainage, and changing weather patterns are being blamed for the alarming spike in infections.
Al Jazeera’s @Tanvir Chowdhury reports from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
