The Government has hit pause.. on the next stage of our international border reopening, amid growing concern about the Omicron variant.

Australia was due to open to select visa holders from tomorrow.. including skilled workers and international students.

But that’s now been pushed back to December the 15th.

There are 5 confirmed cases of the new strain in Australia.. with 4 in New South Wales and one in the Northern Territory.

Home Affairs Minister, Karen Andrews, joined Sunrise for a live interview.
