Australian sailor Tim Shaddock survives being adrift for three months, speaks in Mexico | 7NEWS

7NEWS Australia published this video item, entitled “Australian sailor Tim Shaddock survives being adrift for three months, speaks in Mexico | 7NEWS” – below is their description.

After an incredible ordeal in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, Sydney sailor Tim Shaddock is back on dry land.

He spoke to the media in Mexico today where he explained how he survived three months adrift after his catamaran’s technology was destroyed by a storm while travelling from Port of La Paz in Mexico to French Polynesia.

“There were many, many bad days, and many good days.”

“The health was pretty bad for a while, I was pretty hungry and I didn’t think I’d make it through the storm. But now I’m really doing good…The fatigue is the hardest part. You’re always fixing something. For me, I would try and find the happiness inside myself and I found that a lot alone at sea. I would go in the water too, and just enjoy being in the water.”
