Australian Opals star Cayla George has said her goodbyes to her family and friends on her way to the Tokyo Olympics.
Flanked by her two sisters, Cayla received an emotional send-off at her Cairns home as she sets her sights on the one thing missing from a stellar career.
“I wanted to walk away with an Olympic medal of some sort of colour, and I’m not saying that this will be my last Olympics at all but I definitely think this is a really great opportunity.”
