Ten Australian defence personnel have made a miraculous escape after their helicopter crashed at Jervis Bay. They were pulled from the water around 9pm last night. All avoided serious injury. It’s understood the MRH90 Taipan chopper went down during routine counter-terrorism training. An Army spokesperson says the entire Taipan fleet will be grounded while the incident is investigated.
