Singapore’s hawker culture is part of the everyday life in Singapore and has been featured in movies like “Crazy Rich Asians”. It’s also listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. CGTN’s Miro Lu visits two famous hawker brands – Cho Kee Wanton Noodles and Hawker Chan Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodles, a Michelin-Star award winner – to find out how they are trying to preserve their legacy.
And Owen Poland looks at how New Zealand is trying to preserve its wildlife, especially endangered bird species, like the kiwi or the kaka, which have been threatened by introduced predators like stoats.
