Crowds of desperate Afghans continued to gather outside of Kabul’s airport in the hopes of evacuation on August 25th.
Some were seen standing in knee-deep water amid debris and near barbed wire.
British troops at Kabul airport have warned that desperate Afghans could overrun the site, as UK forces scramble to evacuate civilians in the final days before the military withdrawal.
Jitters are growing among Western forces ahead of the deadline for their exit on Aug 31, that a stampede or terror attack could take place at the airfield in the Afghan capital.
