ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “ACT education system slammed by new report from Canberra Liberals | ABC News” – below is their description.

The Canberra Liberals have released a 74-page report detailing the failings of the ACT public education system as they see it.

They say students in the ACT are falling behind in literacy and numeracy, and blame an over reliance on student-centred learning being used instead of traditional teaching.

But the government says that’s not the case, and are defending their plan which prioritises student wellbeing and equity.
