‘Abuse of federal law’: Remove troops, Portland mayor tells Trump

In many parts of the United States, the largely peaceful protests that followed the death of George Floyd have gradually dwindled away.
The exception being Portland where nightly protests have continued for more than six weeks.
They have been met with violent suppression by federal agents under President Donald Trump.
