Bentley has unveiled its newest concept car, the EXP 9 F, at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. The SUV is unmistakably Bentley from the front and an an Americanized SUV at the rear. Unveiled by the brand’s CEO and Chairman Wolfgang Durheimer, the new model has been marketed alongside falconry as a fast and agile alternative to the other Bentley models.
Undoubtedly the accompanying marketing, with sand dunes and seaside cities, is a play for the Middle Eastern market, while the UK has been targeted with a play at the popularity of a recent costume drama series, by introducing Peckforton Castle as a home of falconry and natural partner of the new EXP 9 F mark.
A robust looking vehicle, the EXP 9 F backs up its silhouette with a 6 litre, twin turbocharged W12 engine and 8 speed transmission. A wood, leather and polished metal interior is contrasted with 23-inch alloy wheel. Despite its sporty credentials, the SUV has a cooled compartment in the armrest with room for champagne and glasses.
