Where do dogs come from? Where does homo sapiens come from? Harvard Law School Professor Cass Sunstein raised those questions in a talk at HLS on Sept. 30 and suggested the answer to both may come from a single source: domestication. In his talk, Sunstein discussed the notion of domestication and recent research that converged on the conclusion that human beings did not domesticate dogs; dogs domesticated themselves.
