British morning television show, This Morning, asked “will we be on lockdown for six months” as the UK tries to avoid stir-craziness after just one week on special measures.
As we enter the second week of the UK coronavirus lockdown, it was suggested yesterday by England’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Jenny Harries, that it could be six months or more before life returns to normal. But what does this mean for us all?
And with the virus causing the death of an NHS consultant, is enough being done to protect those on the front line?
Dr Philippa joins us in the studio, and virologist Jonathan Ball is live from his home, to bring us all the latest.

As Covid-19 has no vaccine, and nobody is immune, a huge and coordinated effort is needed to ensure healthcare systems are not overwhelmed.
Stay home and save lives.
