Good Morning Britain published this video item, entitled “Tougher Punishments Against Motorway Protesters Sparks Debate | Good Morning Britain” – below is their description.
Insulate Britain protests continue to disrupt people, despite a High Court Injunction being obtained by the Government. The injunction means anyone blocking the motorway could be found to be in contempt of court, which carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison or an unlimited fine. But police have said it is “very difficult” to bring charges against the activists. Do we need tougher action against protestors?
