The government is under mounting pressure to address its handling of the exams system – after almost 40 per cent of A-level results were downgraded from teachers’ predictions. It comes as furious students begin legal proceedings against exams regulator Ofqual, after losing out on places at their dream universities. Amongst those are Lina Asaah, who – despite being predicted two A*s and two As by her teachers – was awarded one A, two Bs and a C. She’s joining us alongside her lawyer, Gemma Abbott. And with further confusion around the appeals system – we’ll also be speaking to Head Teacher, Christine Cunniffe.
