It’s the latest non-surgical ‘tweakment’ craved by celebrities and social media stars. Inspired by the likes of supermodels Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, ‘Fox Eye Facelifts’ involve inserting plastic threads at the side of the eyes, to stretch the skin and create a new look. But despite supposedly being quick and ‘pain-free’, more and more people are reporting life-threatening side-effects. Influencer Ryan Ruckledge, who was gifted the procedure to promote it to his thousands of followers, was left hospitalised and claims he nearly died following complications. He joins us today to warn others against this “dangerous procedure”, alongside leading facial aesthetic practitioner Dr Pamela Benito.
