The Seasons with Alan Titchmarsh follows the turning of the seasons in Britain with a focus on nature and the weather. See mad march hares boxing, bluebell woods and tadpoles emerging.
With the help of archive footage, Alan takes his leather jacket and Timbalands on a tour of traditional seasonal activities including making sheeps’ milk cheese, charcoal and the more recent Springtime activity of taking aerial photographs for the Ordnance Survey.
This programme provides a full overview of Spring including diagrams of the Earth’s relation to the Sun and charts the migration of birds. Ideal as a teaching aid.
