Polo: Prince Harry Postpones Visit to Dubai

Prince Harry has postponed his visit to Dubai for the Sentebale Polo Cup, which had been due to take place on 19th March 2011, meaning that the Polo competition has also been postponed until further notice.

A spokesman for St James Palace sent official confirmation of this decision to The Global Herald which explained:

Prince Harry was very much looking forward to the visit, but feels that it would be insensitive for him to participate in a sporting event at a time when there are matters of greater priority to focus on in the region.  Prince Harry looks forward to other opportunities to visit Dubai in the future.

No new date for the Sentebale Polo Cup 2011 has yet been proposed.
