Kanye West Prison Performance Big Surprise for Texas Inmates

Inmates at two Harris County jails, near Houston, got a surprise visit from rapper Kanye West on Friday, November 15th.

As well as tracks from Kanye’s new album ‘Jesus is King’, prisoners were treated to classics like ‘Jesus Walks’, with the artist accompanied by his own choir.

After a concert for approximately 200 male inmates, West did the same for a smaller group of female inmates, at an adjacent detention centre.
