On Boxing Day 1996, two young boys, Patrick Warren and David Spencer went missing in Birmingham and were never seen again. They were the first children to appear on milk cartons as part of a National Missing Persons Helpline campaign dubbing them the ‘Milk Carton Kids’. Now, 25 years on, criminologist David Wilson and actress Emilia Fox dust off the files as they attempt to uncover what happened to the boys who were never found in new show ‘In the Footsteps of Killers’.
