Harry Dunn’s Parents React to Anne Sacoolas Becoming a ‘Wanted Fugitive’ | Good Morning Britain

Anne Sacoolas has become a “wanted fugitive” – Good Morning Britain in the UK spoke to the parents of Harry Dunn, the 19-year-old the diplomat’s wife is alleged to have killed in a collision.

The parents of 19-year-old Harry Dunn spoke to Good Morning Britain following the news that Anne Sacoolas is now “wanted internationally” after an Interpol notice was issued. Mr Dunn 19, died after a crash in Northamptonshire in August and US national Anne Sacoolas is suspected of causing his death by dangerous driving. A Home Office extradition request was rejected by the US in January.

Harry Dunn was a 19-year-old British man who died following a road traffic collision, on 27 August 2019. He was riding his motorcycle near Croughton, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, near the exit to RAF Croughton, when it collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.

It is alleged that the car was driven by Anne Sacoolas, the wife of an American diplomat, who has since returned to the USA. Interpol issued a “red notice” for Sacoolas in May 2020, which makes her a “fugitive” is she steps foot outside of the US. She is wanted for the crime of causing death by dangerous driving, in Britain.

The US has refused to extradite Sacoolas, as she was at the time of the accident, under diplomatic immunity.
