Guardians Vol. 3 Post Credits Scene Explained – Who Is That New Member?

IGN published this video item, entitled “Guardians Vol. 3 Post Credits Scene Explained – Who Is That New Member?” – below is their description.

The ending to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is unusual for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in that it’s actually an ending. This is the last time we’ll see this incarnation of the Guardians onscreen. It’s also probably the last time we’ll see director James Gunn working in the MCU. As such, many fan-favorite characters are given a proper sendoff in this sequel. But this is still a Marvel movie, and there’s always another story to be told. In this case, a new Guardians of the Galaxy team rises from the ashes of the old.

While we wait to learn what the future holds in store for the Legendary Star-Lord and the new Guardians, let’s break down the ending to Vol. 3, the post-credits scenes and the big introduction of the MCU’s newest cosmic hero.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, Elizabeth Debicki, Maria Bakalova and Sylvester Stallone. The film is in theaters now.

The Ashes is a Test cricket series played between England and Australia. The term originated in a satirical obituary published in a British newspaper, The Sporting Times, immediately after Australia’s 1882 victory at The Oval, its first Test win on English soil.

The competition alternates between England and Australia, who host every two years (this varies a little based on the Southern Hemisphere having summer during Northern Hemisphere’s winter), the Ashes is a series of five Test matches, which are each played over five days.
