Cyberpunk 2077 Head Responds to Crunch Controversy – IGN Now

IGN published this video item, entitled “Cyberpunk 2077 Head Responds to Crunch Controversy – IGN Now” – below is their description.

It’s been revealed that CD Projekt Red is requiring members of the Cyberpunk 2077 development team to work overtime to meet the game’s launch. This is in spite of public comments CDPR has made regarding the use of ‘crunch’ to finish a game’s development. CDPR has made a statement regarding this issue, but the problem still remains: should mandatory overtime—crunch time—be a viable option to finish a game? Or should a game be delayed to accommodate the extra hours needed? #ign #gaming
