The Walt Disney Studios and thousands of fans gathered at D23 Expo 2022 to be the first to hear big announcements, new details, and future plans for Disney Live Action, Pixar, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Appearing at the presentation were the talent behind Inside Out 2, Wish, Iwájú, Zootopia+, and Strange World. In the final moment of the presentation, the studio officially unveiled Disney Animation’s next original feature film, Wish, set to release in Fall 2023, during the studio’s 100th year. Panel highlights include Amy Poehler crashing the show to announce Inside Out 2 and Ariana DeBose performing a song from Wish for the first time.
