Good Morning Britain published this video item, entitled “Caver Trapped For 54 Hours Underground In UK’s Deepest Cave System Shares Harrowing Experience | GMB” – below is their description.
A caver who was trapped for 54 hours underground in the deepest cave system in the UK has re-lived his fight for survival. Back in November George Linnane was caving with friends when he felt an ‘instantaneous fall’. ‘One second I was caving, the next minute, the world went mad. And then it all went black. And then two minutes later, I woke up in a very different state.’ George broke the bottom part of his leg, broke his jaw and some ribs, dislocated clavicle with his collarbone pulling away from his ribcage, had a lacerated spleen, a collapsed lung and a broken scaphoid in his wrist and was also at risk of hypothermia.
