Netflix Ending DVD Program, As Password-Sharing Crackdown Hits The U.S. – IGN The Fix: Entertainment

IGN published this video item, entitled “Netflix Ending DVD Program, As Password-Sharing Crackdown Hits The U.S. – IGN The Fix: Entertainment” – below is their description.

It took 25 years, but Netflix is finally getting rid of one of its first offerings that has been on the decline as of recent years due to the convenience of streaming. #Netflix is packing up and shipping out its DVD by mail service. While it looks to sunset that archaic offering, Netflix is serving up something that is universally unwanted: And that’s the broad rollout of its password sharing crackdown. Looking at the company’s Q1 2023 shareholder report, we have a timeline as to when to expect Netflix to hit us with its paid sharing of subscriber accounts. It says it’ll be rolling out in the US in Q2, which means just a few months from now. Wolverine might be a little different in the Deadpool 3 movie, and we talk about McDonald’s new burger formula that’s awakened a fan-favorite mascot. Plus more on today’s Entertainment Fix with Akeem Lawanson.
