Individual investors ‘worried’ about the stock market: Survey

Yahoo Finance published this video item, entitled “Individual investors ‘worried’ about the stock market: Survey” – below is their description.

Third-quarter earnings season is officially underway. But will the results be strong enough to turn investor sentiment around? According to a sentiment survey from Investopedia, 43% of investors say they are “”worried”” about the stock market. Investopedia Editor-in-Chief Caleb Silver joins Yahoo Finance to break down the survey and why individual investors seem skittish about investing lately.

When asked about how investors are feeling, Silver uses data from Investopedia to explain sentiment: “”A lot of people are still looking for best CD rates, a lot of people are also looking for ways to tap cash, whether that’s the best personal loan or best cash advance cards. We hate to see that because that tells you that people’s personal finances are the things they are most worried about right now.””
