DW News published this video item, entitled “Snowstorm forces guests to spend three nights in a pub | DW News” – below is their description.
Dozens of customers of Britain’s highest altitude pub got a longer stay than they had planned last weekend, after a snowstorm cut off the building and forced them to spend the night – or rather the nights – until the roads were cleared.
Of the 61 guests, 59 had left on Monday. The two remaining guests planned to hang on for another day and then leave Tuesday. The 61 guests were stranded after an Oasis cover band performed Friday night. Autumn storm “Arwen” had also caused traffic chaos in other parts of the UK and knocked out power in many homes.
