The Richard Hannon-trained Chindit retained his unbeaten record in Listed company with a convincing win in the Chasemore Farm Fortune Stakes.

Shouldering a penalty for his win in G3 company at Haydock earlier this month, the 7/2 chance recorded a cosy head success under Pat Dobbs in the highlight at Sandown Park.

Winning owner Dr Poonawalla confirmed that Chindit will cover over 100 mares in India at the end of the season.
