Bayern v Man Utd – Kick-Off 20:45 CET – Agg. 1-1
Bayern and Manchester United renew an old UEFA rivalry with the scorelines exceptionally tight. With home advantage, an away goal on the board, and exceptional form of late, Bayern Munich are sure to be favourites, but who can discount the sleeping giant that is Manchester United.
Bayern are bidding to become the first team to win back to back Champions League titles, as current holders.
Atletico Madrid v Barcelona – Kick-Off 20:45 CET – Agg. 1-1
Another big match, between the top two sides in the Spanish league, sees Atletico host Barcelona. The Madrid side outplayed their illustrious visitors in the opening leg at the Camp Nou for large periods, and will be buoyed by a home crowd and holding an away goal.
If Atletico, with the best defence in the Spanish league, can hold Barcelona goalless, they’ll progress. That is no mean feat, however, as Barcelona can cut the very best defences apart. It is definitely all to play for in this match.
