Bloomberg Quicktake published this video item, entitled “Trump Supporters, Protesters Await Arraignment Outside Miami Court” – below is their description.
Former President Donald Trump was expected to appear in federal court in Miami on Tuesday, June 13, after his indictment regarding his handling of classified documents.
The unsealed indictment alleges that Trump kept “hundreds” of classified documents in a bathroom, shower, ballroom, storeroom, office, and bedroom. These documents included information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the US and foreign countries, US nuclear programs, the potential vulnerabilities of the US and its allies to military attack, and plans for responses to such attacks, according to the 49-page document.
Trump was indicted on 37 felony counts. His aide, Walt Nauta, is facing six charges. One part of the indictment includes messages from a “Trump family member” directing which boxes of documents they wanted Nauta to bring to Trump’s New Jersey property in an alleged effort to hide them from investigators in Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s resort and residence in Palm Beach, Florida.
Sergio Olmos posted this footage from Miami on Tuesday.
According to reports, the former president would not take a mugshot or read a statement. He was expected to plead not guilty.
