SpaceX has launched the largest rocket system ever from its spaceport in Boca Chica Texas.

The crewless vehicle – Starship – took off, but exploded midair after its rocket stages failed to separate.

Elon Musk, SpaceX’s CEO who has celebrated previous failures, said the first test was always a 50-50 bet.
