Located in South Asia, Bangladesh is the “land of water,” with numerous rivers and lakes distributed in this land. Near a rural brook on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka, the murmuring water and chirping birds remind one of the Irish poet William Butler Yeats’ poem “Down by the Salley Gardens.”
