Paul Patterson, Director of Europe’s Fujitsu Services Limited has apologised to victims of the Post Office scandal saying he is “truly sorry” for his company’s role “in this appalling miscarriage of justice”.

Hundreds of people were held liable for financial discrepancies thrown up by faulty accounting software that made it appear as though money was missing from their branches.
