Pakistan’s still coming to grips with it. At least 72 were killed in the Easter Sunday suicide bombing targeting the country’s small Christian community. The attacks happened in Lahore, home of PM Nawaz Sharif. It’s seen as a direct challenge to him that comes at the same time as Islamists mount a campaign around the recent execution of the bodyguard who murdered the governor of Punjab, who had argued in favor of relaxing stringent blasphemy laws. Can the state protect its minorities?
