Memphis Zoo held a farewell party on Saturday to wish Ya Ya a safe journey and celebrate the 20-year partnership with the Chinese Association of Zoological Gardens. Almost 500 people attended the event and said goodbye to the giant panda Ya Ya. Zoo spokesperson Rebecca Winchester said Ya Ya will likely be back in China at the end of April.
