Golden Globes 2024: Film, TV stars mingle on the red carpet

Global News published this video item, entitled “Golden Globes 2024: Film, TV stars mingle on the red carpet” – below is their description.

Celebrities from film and television mingled on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, Hollywood’s first big celebration since twin strikes shut down most of show business last year.

“This has been a fantastic year for cinema,” actor Nicolas Cage said.

The awards ceremony honours the best of film and television selected by a new group of 300 entertainment journalists from around the world, part of reforms made after a diversity and ethics scandal among voters.

“I love this so much, and it’s been such an honour to be nominated as a director, you know. So cool!” director Celine Song said.

The glitzy ceremony kicked off Hollywood’s annual awards season.
