A pilot has been rescued after his small plane crashed in the water near Florida Keys.

The pilot said he was flying from Orlando to Key West to pick up a friend, when both of the plane’s engines “just stopped”.

Officials said he was the only one on the plane and his injuries were not life-threatening.
