he Coronation quiche has been hailed a triumph by Dame Prue Leith, who said it had “no soggy bottom” and that the balance of tarragon was “perfect”.
The Great British Bake Off judge was among the first to sample the quiche on Tuesday at a Big Lunch event at Westminster Abbey, attended by faith leaders from across the country.
The Duke of Edinburgh took the quiche, baked in the Buckingham Palace kitchen, to share with guests.
