Crew of OceanGate submersible presumed dead after ‘catastrophic loss of pressure chamber’

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Crew of OceanGate submersible presumed dead after ‘catastrophic loss of pressure chamber'” – below is their description.

US Coast Guard said that the debris found by a remote operated vehicle suggests a “catastrophic implosion” of the missing Titan submersible.

Rear Admiral John Mauger added that the families were immediately informed. Remote operated vehicles will continue to search the area.

“The debris field is consistent with catastrophic implosion of the vessel” the admiral said. He added that sonar buoys have been in the water for 72 hours and did not detect any implosion, suggesting it happened some time ago.
