The fifth phase of the development of the world’s largest deepwater oil field Buzios began in Brazil on May 31 with the participation of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
Located in southeastern Brazil’s Santos Basin, Buzios has an operating depth of 1,900 to 2,200 meters and produces 150,000 barrels of raw oil and about 6 million cubic meters of natural gas on a daily basis.
