China Customs has supervised a total of 5,416 inbound and outbound ships and 783,000 passenger trips since the trade, postal and transport services resumed on January 7, 2023 between the Chinese mainland’s Fujian Province and Taiwan-administered Kinmen and Matsu islands. Abbreviated as “mini three links,” the direct trade, postal and transport services were launched on January 1, 2001 between Kinmen, Matsu and Fujian.
