Gucci officially announced on August 2, 2022 that ‘select boutiques in the U.S.’ will now be accepting ApeCoin payments through its partner BitPay for in-store purchases. The Italian fashion house looks to further explore Web3 with 70% of its retail stores accepting over 10 different cryptocurrencies across the U.S.
