A German student has been charged by New South Wales police after he is alleged to have broken into Australia Museum.
25-year-old Paul Kuhn is believed to have climbed into the museum via nearby scaffolding.
He then spent 40 minutes exploring the museum and took selfies with the dinosaur exhibit say police.
Mr Kuhn is also accused of stealing a cowboy hat and a piece of artwork.
The country’s oldest museum has been closed to the public since August last year as it undergoes renovations.
