Australia Weather: New radar mapping experience on the BOM Weather app

We’ve added rain forecasts to the radar map.
On the BOM Weather app, you’ll now see a seamless transition of past weather and forecast rain, 90 minutes into the past and 90 minutes into the future, on the app’s popular radar map.
You will still experience a familiar look and feel when viewing the radar, but may notice small changes, such as:
· a slightly darker map, improving accessibility
· a new slider to control the rain animation playback
· Radar button in the bottom navigation updated to Rain
· the addition of rainfall legend, presented in mm/hr
This app update also provides increased compatibility with Android devices.
