Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital is a specialized hospital for infectious diseases and is also known as one of the major battlefields in the fight against COVID-19. Zhang Dingyu, president of the hospital, has spent the past few months with his hundreds of colleagues treating patients since the first cases of COVID-19 arrived. He was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in October 2018, but it didn’t stop him from working on the front line of the coronavirus outbreak.
The number of severe COVID-19 cases in Hubei has dropped to zero. In this episode of “COVID-19 Frontline,” CGTN’s Zou Yun interviews Dr. Zhang Dingyu, taking a look back at the past four months and listening to what he has to say about the future.
