Prince Charles recalls his environmental campaigns as February 19th marks 50 years since he gave his first major speech on the climate emergency
During a public engagement to view new, eco-friendly cars, the Prince of Wales said that human beings “don’t take the necessary steps until everybody is hit in the face with the problem”, with saving the planet now “going to cost more than it would have done if we had addressed the issue some time ago”.
