More than 40% of Americans cannot name the vice-presidential nominee of either major party, according to a survey by ABC News.
On the eve of the vice-presidential debate, we asked people in New York if they could pick Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s running mate, and Mike Pence, who’s running with Donald Trump, from a picture gallery of politicians and fictional VPs.
