Andy Roddick hit what he described as the “best shot of his life” on match point to defeat Canadian Milos Raonic and win a tight Memphis 2011 Final by two sets to one.
Roddick eventually lifted his third Memphis title with this winner, producing a final scoreline of 7-6 (9-7) 6-7 (11-13) 7-5 in the closest of matches, between two big serving North Americans.
The diving winner, seen in the video replay above, came at just the right time, on a Championship Point against the strong Canadian. Roddick’s title was the 30th of his career.
