TV presenter Caroline Flack found dead aged 40

Caroline Flack, 40, has been found dead. Her family solicitor confirmed the death was an apparent suicide, and that her body had been found in her London flat on Saturday 15 February 2020.

According to a family statement

“We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.

We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”

The TV presenter had been due to appear in court next month over an assault on her partner. She had stepped down from presenting the ITV series Love Island for which she had been the well known face.

A host of celebrities and members of the public have expressed shock and disbelief on social media.
